The Oppo R1 is the new Android smartphone dedicated to photography and unveiled by the Chinese manufacturer of the same name.

This midrange unit is equipped with a large display of inch (12.7 cm diagonal) allowing the display of an image to the maximum setting of 1280 x 720 pixels. The terminal is powered by a quad-core MT6582 designed by Mediatek and clocked at 1.3 GHz processor. Oppo R1 is equipped with a RAM of 1 GB and 16 GB of native storage (all expandable via microSD card).

GSMarena, the Chinese presents this terminal as dedicated uses of mobile photography. The R1 is therefore equipped with a photo sensor main 8MP able to manage settings of aperture of f/2.0 (it allows therefore to capture a higher brightness than most of the NPA in this category).

The Oppo R1 acquires a particularly effective camera for a mid-tier smartphone

This camera is accompanied by an overlay software dedicated to providing many options of treatment in post-production for users. The Oppo R1 runs on a standard version of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (unlike the previous N1 to rotating camera unveiled last September, with several models are offered under CyanogenMod). – Oppo R819 Christmas Combo Smartphones

The whole gives a smartphone with a finesse of 7.4 mm (good performance). But it is not necessarily in the light weight (140 grams) category due to a particularly heavy 2410 mAh battery. Oppo already sells his R1 in China, at the price of 300 euros, and presents it as a smartphone of average range dedicated to photography.
